I think this means that he has fought for black people to be respected jus like the white men. He wanted everyone to be treated equally but some people have just been messing up everything that he stood for. well im pretty sure no matter how much someone tries to treat people equally there are going to be racist and prejudice to people on a "lower class". It means that people who faught for something made their point and people took it the wrong way,so now blacks are treating whites more messed up. If MLK was here he would be disgusted on what the world has transformed to,all he wanted was everyone to be equal.
